Founding principles have remained the same for more than 150 years

Dutch pharmacist Nicolaas Sanders founded the Royal Sanders Company in 1851 in Leiden producing medical, household and shaving soap. As the manufacture of body care products was considered such an important contribution to national health care and the well-being of the people it was granted the Royal Warrant by King Willem III. Since its establishment Royal Sanders has grown virtually every year and is now a leading supplier of personal care products. While many things have changed since 1851, the principles on which the company was founded have remained: continuous improvement, innovative ideas and understanding the unique needs of the customers.
